J. Rick SandwayPresident
J. Rick Sandway, founder and President/CEO of Premier Computer Services, graduated in 1968 from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, with a degree in Economics and Business Administration. While in college Rick was a 4-year letter winner in swimming. He was a member of the Letterman’s Club and served two years as the club president. Rick was also active in his college fraternity where he served as both pledge captain and vice-president. Upon graduation from Augustana Rick became president of the fraternity’s alumni association, a position he held for nearly ten years.
From 1968 to 1977 Rick worked for the Augustana College Admissions Office, first as a counselor and recruiter and later as Assistant Director of Admissions. He then was appointed Director of Financial Aid by the college. In 1977 Rick went to work for Sandstrom Products of Port Byron, Illinois, where he held the position of National Sales Manager. He left Sandstrom in 1987 to pursue his interest in the computer industry. From 1987 to January of 1993 he worked for Data One of Moline, Illinois, where he served as Sales Manager, Regional Vice-President, and Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
Based on the opportunities he saw and the contacts he had made, both with some of the large computer manufacturers and with major U.S. corporations, Rick decided to start his own computer business. In March 1993, Premier Computer Services, Inc. officially opened its doors. Initially providing only field automation deployment, break-fix, and hard-drive upgrade solutions to large corporations, Premier has expanded over the years and currently offers a complete line of life-cycle management services to the SMB market, major corporations, hospitals, and schools across the country. From initial hardware purchase, custom imaging and installation, to repair, data migration/redeployment and old technology disposal, Premier can satisfy a broad range of IT needs.

Director of Technology and Special Projects
Brent had been with Premier since the company opened in February 1993. Prior to that, he worked as a computer technician for Data One in Moline, Illinois. Brent attended Hamilton Technical College where he earned his Associate’s Degree in Electronics Engineering.

Dale DeClercqService Manager
Dale has been putting his 25+ years of management experience to work at Premier Computer Services since 2002. He has an associate’s degree from Moline’s Black Hawk College as a Microcomputer Support Specialist.

Constance King
Customer Service Manager
Constance is a Quad City native and is a graduate of Rock Island High School. She has over 15 years of experience in customer service, and several years experience in management, sales and marketing. She has been an employee with Premier for 2 years. Constance volunteers with local charities such as the American Red Cross, Gilda’s Club, and Family Resources, and recently received training in government contracting in order to help Premier expand its experience in this field.Crystal Milburn
Senior Sales Executive
Graduating from Northern Illinois University’s College of Business, Crystal comes to Premier with a sales and marketing background. Most recently hailing from Lenovo’s world headquarters in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park, Crystal has worked for companies of all sizes with the primary focus being on customer relationships. She has recently relocated to the area to be near family after having been away for many years. Her efforts will be concentrated on providing consumers of all industries with computer-related business solutions designed to reduce their total cost of ownership while creating additional time and resources for their IT staff.Jim Roggenbauer

Jim has been with Premier since 2007. Prior to that he worked for Flick’s Supply in Moline, Illinois. Jim is married with two children, two stepchildren, and six granddaughters. He graduated from Moline High School in 1978.

Karla Zaleski
Parts Manager
Karla has been with Premier Computer Services since 2002. She has over 20 years of experience as a purchasing manager. A graduate of Kewanee High School, she lives in Rock Island, Illinois, with her family and her sheepdog, Sassy. She enjoys watching sports, especially the Cubs – Karla says “There’s always next year!”Jeremy King
Project Manager
Jeremy grew up in Arkansas, and has been working with computers for over 20 years. He still has his first computer, a Commodore 64. Originally a philosophy major, he switched to computer science and has been a proud geek ever since. He handles the State of Illinois data destruction/ E-waste disposal contract; his responsibilities at Premier include quality control, scheduling for data destruction and disposal, certificates of data destruction and EPA compliance, inventory control, refurbishment projects, government quoting and finalizing, and small business network consulting.

J. Ryan Shovar
Controller
Ryan graduated in 1994 from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting concentration with Information Systems. He then spent 14 years in the public accounting field working with a wide variety of clients, and has a background in income and payroll taxation. Ryan is also a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor with 15 years of experience in consulting, installation, setup, and training for customers in a wide variety of industries.
